A note on enforcement. Each license is a contract directly between the buyer and the photographer. Alaska Media Market stores the agreed terms with the purchase but is not a party to the agreement and is not responsible for enforcing it or for any misuse of licensed work by either party.

1. Grant of License

Subject to the terms below, Alaska Media Market (acting as authorized agent for the Photographer) grants the Licensee a non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide license to use the Image for the commercial purposes described above, capped at five hundred thousand (500,000) total impressions across all media.

2. Permitted Uses

Marketing collateral, website assets, social media content, and email campaigns.

Print and digital advertising, including paid placements.

Product packaging where the Image is illustrative (not the resale subject).

Internal corporate use, presentations, and training materials.

3. Prohibited Uses

The Licensee may NOT:

Exceed five hundred thousand (500,000) total impressions; an Extended Commercial license is required for unlimited use.

Use the Image on merchandise intended for resale (apparel, prints sold as products, etc.); an Extended Commercial license is required.

Sublicense, resell, redistribute, or transfer the Image or any derivative outside the Licensee organization.

Use the Image in connection with subject matter that is defamatory, pornographic, hateful, or that misrepresents identifiable subjects.

Use the Image as a trademark, service mark, or logo.

Remove watermarks (where applicable) from preview versions.

4. Releases

The Licensee acknowledges that Alaska Media Market requires model and property releases for all media licensed under this tier. Licensee agrees to use the Image only in accordance with the scope of those releases.

5. Term

This license is perpetual for the permitted scope. It terminates automatically upon material breach, in which case the Licensee must cease use and destroy all copies.

7. Warranties

The Photographer warrants they own or have the rights to license the Image, and that the appropriate releases are on file. THE IMAGE IS OTHERWISE PROVIDED "AS IS." Alaska Media Market AND THE PHOTOGRAPHER DISCLAIM ALL OTHER WARRANTIES.

8. Indemnification

Alaska Media Market will indemnify the Licensee against third-party claims arising from the Photographer's lack of rights or releases, up to the amount paid for this license. The Licensee will indemnify Alaska Media Market and the Photographer against claims arising from the Licensee's use of the Image outside the scope of this license.

9. Limitation of Liability

Except for indemnification obligations, total liability of either party is limited to the amount paid for this license. Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential damages.

10. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Alaska, USA. Disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Anchorage, Alaska.
